I wrote my first screenplay when I was fifteen years old. My screenplays are inspired by pictures and events that take place around me and I especially like writing fantasy shorts that focus on family and belonging. In Wattpad's screenplay category, my screenplay collection ranked #8 and #20 in December 2018 and 2019 respectively.
What type of screenplays do I write?
I currently write speculative short screenplays. When I first started screenwriting, I did not know the difference between speculative and shooting scripts, so my earlier screenplays are a mixture of both types. The length of my screenplays tend to be 3-4 minutes long.
In my screenplays, I love exploring family dynamics.
Where do I post my screenplays?
I post my screenplays on Wattpad and on Tumblr/Cohost as well as under the "My Writing" tab on this website. Please note that I write my screenplays on Google Docs, so the format is not standard.
When do I post my screenplays?
I post my screenplays sporadically throughout the year. You can follow me on Tumblr/Cohost to find out when I have a new screenplay available.
Why do I write screenplays?
Similar to the reason I write poetry, I love screenwriting because it is another way to explore characters. With screenwriting, information can only be conveyed through descriptions and dialogue. Screenwriting challenges me to give the same character depth I provide in short stories and essays, but only through what is said and what exists in each setting.
How do I write screenplays?
I create my screenplays by first coming up with an idea or topic and then writing the story. I use Final Draft as a resource for formatting my work.
