Recently I began working with watercolors online. I've never really been into painting, watercolors or not, but I found myself enjoying my online experience. I was able to choose the size of my brush and really work with the colors. I could dry the whole painting whenever I wanted. This wasn't the first time I've done digital painting with watercolors, but it's the first time I've felt I made something to be proud of. I created "Saluting the Monster", a drawing of a girl staring at a creature barreling towards her. Both are surrounded by red and orange flames. The flames were the best parts. I enjoyed going crazy dragging my stylus across my wacom and watching as color splashed onto the page. I loved how the shades rippled within the white canvas. It was amazing. Of course, the process wasn't all fun. I had difficulty getting the brown to be dark enough to cover the red and keeping everything within the lines, but over all, I came up with something I felt of proud of doing. What is your favorite part about working with watercolors online?
