I'm fairly pleased with how my poetry has been progressing, but I definitely have a long way to go. I plan on focusing harder on form. I desire to work meter, alliteration, and other devices into my poetry. At the moment, most of my poems are free form and while I do realize, free form does not mean without form, my poems don't have much to begin with and I wish to change that. I've written a couple poems that I'm proud of. "The Hate Underneath" and one I haven't published yet called "The Forgetting" are my favorites. I'm excited to share with you the latter. As stated above, I have a lot of work to do to increase my poetry skills, but I'm willing to take the effort to progress. Thank you for reading and see you in March.
